Residential Projects

You may be looking at our website because you have been daydreaming about remodeling or making an addition to your residence.  Maybe your kids are getting older and they need more room or you’re just tired of your outdated kitchen or bathroom and are finally getting around to that upgrade you’ve always wanted. So where do you begin?

Consult a trusted, proven architect with local expertise

United Architects, Inc., is an architecture firm whose work has been featured nationally on HGTV.  We are known for cutting through the permitting process and red tape, getting your plans approved quickly and effortlessly. That way you can start enjoying your new house, remodeling, or addition that much sooner!

WE LISTEN

An architect who is accessible and listens? Yes, please!

We listen to our clients and transform their needs into creative, cost effective solutions.  Our process involves several one-on-one meetings with ample opportunity for dialogue with the principal of the firm, Maria Luisa Castellanos, R.A., LEED AP. Our first consultation is always free for the owner of the property within Miami-Dade County.

WE HELP YOU DEAL WITH THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT

Dealing with the Building Department - We can help you sail through it!

As Miami architects, residents for many years, we bring extensive knowledge of the construction industry, forging good relationships and an excellent reputation with local building departments. Our familiarity with this area, the various departments and disciplines, can help navigate your plans through the process quickly.

Unlike many Miami architecture firms, we only send completed drawings to the building department.  Then, we carefully follow up with the entire permitting process. This means we actually go to the building department and meet with the officials, if necessary, unlike other firms. . We are always available to walk you through the process and let you know what to expect each step of the way.

WE CAN HELP YOU ESTABLISH THE RIGHT CONTRACT AND NEGOTIATE WITH CONTRACTORS

Dealing with Contractors – We can be fierce negotiators for you.  We help you select the best contractor for the project, often through multiple bids or a negotiated process.  We can help you determine the best written contract for the project.  We consistently negotiate the most cost-effective deals for our clients — while still keeping our friendships in the construction industry!

Check out our website, then call, write or text us.

We invite you to spend some time on our website and to call at (305) 552-5465 or write to us at MLC@UnitedArchs.com or text us at (305) 439-7898.  There is never a charge for the initial consultation, if you own a Miami-Dade property.
