United Architects

United Architects, Inc., established in Miami in 1986 to serve the Greater Miami area, is owned by Maria Luisa Castellanos, R.A., LEED AP.  A graduate of Georgia Tech (M. Architecture), she brings over 25 years of experience to a project, whether it's a residential or commercial property.  

We pride ourselves in our ability to listen to our clients and transform their needs into cost effective solutions.  Building or enhancing a property can be a pleasant experience and all clients should feel their needs are being met.  Our process involves many personal meetings with ample opportunity for dialogue with the principal of the firm.

In addition, we only send the drawings to the building department when we feel they are complete.  Then, we follow carefully the entire permitting process.  We go to the building department and meet with each discipline, if necessary.  We want you to get your permit as soon as possible so that you can start construction!  Frequent dialogue during the construction phase is also our opportunity to ensure your needs are being met.

As home grown Miami architects, we bring to you extensive knowledge of the construction industry in this area.  You can read more about the different building departments and then know what to expect from each.  The more you know ahead of time the easier it will be for you in navigating the process.
